Rice twins visit Irene Mamiye Studios, Soho NYC

The twins walked tirelessly through SoHo a few summers ago. As we walked down Spring Street we looked up and stopped dead in our footsteps! All three of us. I said OMG lets go in. This visceral world of light & elegant organic elements just took our breath away. I told the boys this is the most refreshing art I have seen in years. I love every piece-pure beauty. I watched my boys as they blocked out the hustle & bustle out on the streets of Soho, then saw them lose them selves in this space filled with peace and "happiness" ! This truely was inspiration.
